A Tasting Journey in Silence

Where Stillness Becomes Architecture

This conceptual fine-dining omakase project explores an undeveloped site in Ram Inthra. Exterior and interior are designed as one experience from the first step, interpreting the omakase meal

through contemporary Japanese architecture that is simple, still and carefully paced.

Exterior

An Introduction to the Ritual

of Dining

Vertical lines, warm timber and concrete surfaces give the building a simple, grounded presence. The landscape introduces the experience through gravel paths, rock gardens, pine trees and bonsai, gradually drawing guests away from the outside world into a quieter, more focused setting.

Interior

Where Stillness Finds

Its Own Rhythm

A U-shaped counter brings chef and guests into a considered relationship. Timber, stone and concrete work with soft lighting to create calm, detail and rhythm throughout. This is a conceptual design that has not been built, shared as a vision of what the space could become.

Plan Your Restaurant

A memorable restaurant brings atmosphere, spatial rhythm and the guest experience together. Penthouse offers Design Only, with construction for Penthouse-designed projects in Bangkok and Greater Bangkok.

FAQ

Where should omakase restaurant design begin?
Start with the full experience, from arrival and seating to views of the chef and the rhythm of light and sound. The dining journey should be designed as a connected sequence.
What are the highlights of this omakase concept?
Exterior and interior are conceived as one experience on an undeveloped site. Contemporary Japanese architecture, an entrance garden and a U-shaped counter create a calm, intimate fine-dining setting. This is an unbuilt conceptual design.
Why can contemporary Japanese design suit an omakase restaurant?
Its focus on simplicity, honest materials, light and proportion fits an omakase experience centred on stillness, balance and attention to detail.
